Almost all the coinstars I went to today were down one said on the screen sorry not in service at this time, another was completely black, 2 for some reason were not giving consumers their receipts. Made me wonder if the CoinStar system wasn't being hacked into, was certainly very odd that all these machines were down at once for one reason or another, or perhaps they are doing soft ware update, what ever it is alot of consumers were very un happy with their service today. I watched literally at 2 locations while consumers got customer service to open the machine because it was not printing the reciept, at first I thought maybe out of paper or jammed, but it was not, the rep had to pull the last transaction and manually over ride to print the receipt, went to new store and exactly the same thing was happening. That was this afternoon, then tonight one simply said out of service the other was black. Very odd indeed.
