What's this? Token, Coin, Button??

My wife and I found this while detecting on Narragansett beach in RI, neither one of us have any idea on what it could be. It was approx. 10 inches deep, I believe it is lead. It appears to be two pieces soldered or brazed together, one side has flowers - the other side is very worn and looks like it may be hammered? any ideas? thanks

To help out others here, scale would be nice. (They are geniuses/prodigies/freaks of nature, but relativity always helps.)

The 'flower motiff' is familiar. Not of this or the last century, just my guess. Something to me says, Nordic inspired.

I believe you can rule out it being a coin and WELCOME TO TREASURE NET!!
BTW, I'm 'OK' with the scale since I've assumed the yellow object is a pencil.

Does it have any indication that it could have been a pendent of any kind? Above the flower on the edge of the rim?

Thank you all for your responses. To answer seger98's question. Yes it does look like it might have had something attached on the rim underneath the stem of the flower. It's a small bump and almost looks like it is between the two layers. It's hard to make out. But is shown on the side view picture. If this is where a loop for a chain would have been the flowers would have been displayed upside down.

I've seen something like this posted before, but darn if I can remember when or why. Sure is frustrating! Monty

Hmmm, I'm baffled then if it would have hung upside down. Maybe a stamp for a kid playing in play-do :icon_scratch:

looks more like a sealing stamp. way back when, they used a stamp similar to that, that was unique to an individual or family, to seal letters with wax, and then stamp the melted wax to ensure privacy in the letter

Its probably just the casting spural (can't remember the technical name but close). Mark left after they pour it into the hole for the mould, normally filed off.

I think its a pan weight, try weighing it.
