WHATS THIS COIN #6

[AQUA]

Found this coin next door to a historic fort dated 1604.

So I,m assuming it is very old.

However it is in very hard shape as you can see.I can,t make out anything on it...just "pera*.

This one prolly isn,t solvable.

I have no idea... can only assume its the outter layer of the coin....its prolly too far gone to be identified

I dunno man it looks like something is on it I'll bet if you get that off you can see what's under there

nothing to lose I guess--will try some fine steel wool tomo

I have used a popsicle stick on some older copper coins and did get some detail and the wood wont hurt the coin. Good luck.

If it's copper try some vinegar overnite before you steel wool it it may loosen it up

NO STEEL WOOL... just give it a couple of hot peroxide baths
