PS. I used a different types of "keepers" on my PTO connections on my '58 Ferguson.
Not the actual PTO connection, but the "arms" that were connected to the up and down motion as used on say, brush hogs, scoops, buckets, etc. Don't know what they were called, but they were roundish. The ring part, anyway....
I'd know 'em if I saw 'em!

Scott , we call them D- rings for the implements that attach to the lift arms.
The one you have a photo of we call PTO lock pins. Heres a link.
