Whats this button

What's this button

Does anyone have a clue what the design on this button means. From it's style probably 19th Century. The letters are A.L.B.C or G.The button also shows two crossed swords, going through a circled small cross. On the back I can see OF LONDON.

never seen anything quite like it, but would have to guess its secret society related, like the freemasons

Just had a look on the net, what's a button from New York doing in a field in Nottinghamshire ?. Did the society go international ?.

Don't blame them, went there a few years back, was it cold !. It was in February though
