What's The Deal With 1976 Halves? Help The Silly Canuck Eh?

What's the deal with these 1976's? Are they common? The reason why I'm asking is that out of my first ever 5 rolls (Yellow wrappers) I came out with probably at least 2 dozen or more of them.

Very common. Only keep the silver clad ones minted in San Fran.

The edge looks like a 40% half from 1965-1970. I think they made them for more then a year with the 1976 date, why they are so common.

10-4, thanks folks. All D mint marks... No proofs. :laughing7: I'll use them to buy some good old US micro/craft brewed beer then eh? Thanks for the help. I'll trust you guys and gals over a random internet search any day. :icon_thumleft:
