after looking at the letters on the back with a loop. i thought i would scan the back and i can see the letters better with the scan. i guess maybe my eyes hope you can too. but if not post and i will write them down. i found this watch years a go at a old church yard along with merc,s and Rosy's and other silver from the 60s as i recall this watch was down about four in. thanks for the repliesJeffro said:I'm thinkin by the design late 50's early 60's? Got a maker's mark or anything else on the back to identify it further?
looks like the back of my watch but the brass base is high,re in that watch , were mine is at the bottom of the diamond. the deputy sheriff on mine should give this watch away as to being what it is and how old. for them to put that on the watch seem like there might have been a show or a com, book or some thing thanks again I'm going to look on the web a lot today to try to find how old and who this deputy sheriff isPBK said:Jon, I think your guess of a date in the 70's is right on the money. My reason for saying this is that the same case was used on Bradley character watches, which were made from 1973 to 1986. Here's a "Bradley Ballerina" watch on eBay, showing identical marks. Scroll down to "Select a Picture" and click on the one of the back of the watch:
