Whats the AVG. Nickel box?

i have been doing phenomenal with nickels lately - no one in my area searches them!!!!

i got 2 war nickels in my first box of nickels (ever)

and i just got 4 war nickels in my second box

dimes are starting to suck reallllly bad so for now im gonna only search 2 boxes of nickels and maybe 1-2 boxes of halves a week if i ask the friendly teller

Out of the 13 nickel boxes I've done since December 8th 9 have contained silver nickels, 1 had 2 silver nickels, 5 had buffaloes, 1 had a liberty nickel and 4 had a silver nickel with either a buffalo or liberty nickel. I also pulled a 1974 S proof nickel from a box with a 1944 P.

0.67/box for me... or 2 every 3 boxes.

Out of the 15 dime boxes I've done since January 2nd 8 boxes had silver dimes, 6 had either all 2012 or mostly 2012 dimes, 1 was a skunk where is was all kinds of dates, 5 had 1 silver roosie, 1 had 3 silver roosies, 1 had 4 silver roosies, and 1 had 3 silver roosies and a 1916 merc.

I just did my first nickel box ever. 16 nickels I decided to keep ranging in 40s-50s which are just the average 75-25% mix.

found 1x1945 S

This might be enough for me to give nickels another shot.

Nickels have been a waste of time for me recently, but I really want to finish off my first found in the wild Jefferson book so I keep picking them up. I've only found 1 war nickel in my last $500 searched.

I've been doing well with nickels also. Last for boxes I did, two had 4 war nicks each, one box has one and the forth was skunk. My dimes have been terrible lately. Skunk after skunk. Almost like halves. Lol
