I found this piece at the Tavern circa 1798 we've been hunting. I see Hill Billy also got one, it's at the top of the button picture. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,316007.0.html

Kind of has 3 rivets across the top and is about 1 1/4 inches long.
