What year and What type of washer was this from?

It appears to be the agitator from a New Improved Western Washer, built by Blackstone manu. co. In buisness from the 1880's until 1910. I'll try to get a pic. Tony
PS: It's not worth very much because it's a small part of the whole washer, But it is a nice conversation piece.

So what was the reading for this on your machine? There are grandmothers all over the US that would gladly shoot you for dragging this out from where ever you found it. It is evil---take it back immediately and bury it deep!!!!

My other hobby is antique engines and equiptment they could power. I pick up old literature and catalogs when I find them. I also have a Maytag and a 1909 Dexter with small engines on them. Tony
