Here's a couple of charts that may help (Click for larger version):

Neither, get the fisher f2 or eurotek pro. Ace series will miss what the f2 can find. And no annoying bell tone. Good luck

Sent from my expensive phone I really don't need

Ace 350 in my opinion the f2 is a good machine from what I hear but I found a lot with my 350 and know I could find anything the f2 could. I liked the bell tones so it's personal preference. The DD coil and added iron segments helped a lot.

Have you seen and compared both detectors? I say this, because I have a friend who owns a 350, and he killed a park so good he didn't get a signal, I take my f2 over and pull pennies and quarters like crazy! Sent from my expensive phone I really don't need

yes I have and same situation you are talking about. I hunt a park and fairgrounds when I want to dig a lot and possibly find rings. I have hunted with a lot of guys with different machines and have hunted with a guy that used the f2 and we were comparing hits. This was when I used the 350. I only use the pro now and am finding stuff the 350 missed. I've found two mercs in my yard that I went over with the 350. But this isn't about the pro so I can tell you the 350 is a coin magnet and the f2 is also a coin magnet. I have a test garden that I put in when I used the 350 so I got good with it and would hang with a lot of detectors. It's a great learning machine to see if you like this hobby. I wanted more info and ground balance so I upgraded to the pro. I was researching the goldbug pro, f70, mxt and the pro. I like the sounds of the Garrett machines and their customer service is over the top. But to the original poster if it's between the 250 and 350 the diff in the machines is worth the price. Good luck on your choice.

Thanks every one this really helped I will go with the ace 350. I would love to have a Garrett AT Pro it's just a bit out of my price range right now
