What would these points be used for?

Hello everyone. I went with my daughters and my step dad to a rock shelter here in Eastern Ky that is on some family land. Ive dug several artifacts from this place before, but I know little about what type of points they are or what they are used for. I know most "arrowheads" found are knives and not actually arrow points. However, I am not educated on the subject enough to know what is what. Could anyone give me some info about the points in the picture below? Not the best picture but I will try to take some more in a bit. Thanks for any help!

The best part is finding them the 2nd is getting a I.D. book and looking them up. Once you learn the proper age of your site you will be faster with your book. Now not all places were the same time frame.
