Hello everybody...title of topic may be wrong because i know the use of the key,just don't know wht it is shaped like it is...on one side it reads:independent lock co.fitchburg mass.other side is counterstamped at top;BOGAT OR BOGAF,THEN PAT.APPLIED FOR.it seems to be a bottle opener&could be but the leverage is,well...any help will be greatly appreciated!

Looks like some thing you would have in case of emergency, bottle opener/ old fashioned can opener.

No but i will later...doesn't seem to be much use for that if on a key ring full of keys know what i mean? after i try it i'll post my results(by quote)Thanks for looking!

Yea would be kind of hard to open a Shlitz while Driving
down the road if it was on a ring & hanging from the Ignition :wink:

it looks like a novelty key ring bottle opener. the "key" aspect probably is non functioning, it looks to be a generic cut.
