What Type Of Rock Is This Help Please!

Hi I have this large rock that I have no idea what it is. Was cleaning out the garage and found this in a box. I dont even remember getting this, lol. It is very unique. In a way it reminded me of obsidian. But not black. Any thoughts. Thank you in advance.

Looks like slag glass to me.

Obsidian can be any color.

Looks like Jasper. If you heat it up it brings the crystal structure tighter. Natiive Am. made tools from it after heating to get a better edge.. If it is Jasper...the way it fractures will help you.
