What type of rings are these? Are they ancient?

you may want to post the pics instead of links . many here won't open links, me included. without even seeing them I would not buy anything with such grand claims.
It's a pretty good chance you'll lose your money.

Well there's nothing about them that says his/her claim couldn't be true. The styles are typical for Norse rings of that period (presumably you mean 9th - 11th Century). I have some Bronze pieces from Viking sites in at least as good condition. However, the reality is that you can't say much about authenticity of items like that from a photograph. Whether or not I would be tempted would depend on any information about the find circumstances, the price, the reputation of the seller and his/her return policy in the event of dissatisfaction.

I tried uploading the pics but they just won’t :( failed attempt on both computer and phone.
The seller has sold around 100 items with no bad reviews; he says he found them himself because he is metal-detecting as a hobby. He has a lot of viking-themed relics that he sells.
What i really wonder is if they really are that old, because they look ancient to me, but i have an untrained eye.
The price is 40 dollars for all 4 rings.

I would be tempted to ask where he finds them to make sure he can legally sell them. But then again authenticity cannot be guaranteed simply because many people fake things to make extra money off them.

There is an Etsy seller selling what they assert to be Viking artifacts from northern Russia along rivers The Rus. None are particularly expensive. They seem to have good feedback. At that price I might not sweat it and just enjoy them.

I bought what was listed as a medieval bronze ring from eBay. I don't know if it is or isn't, but I liked the way it looks and the price was fair for a ring that I would wear, so I bought it. I posted pictures of it in a thread somewhere on here a while back asking if anyone knew if it was authentic.

Found the thread:

Now that you say it, indeed.. 2 are pretty much identical.
Ugh, the patina looks sooo realistic though..

If they are Viking Era rings they were probably trade goods as they were consummate traders and not necessarily off the finger of a berserking Warrior. That they are similar doesn’t bother me too much as the strip was probably made as a long strip and cut up and soldered. Just another few thoughts

If you have $40 laying around I don't see the harm in buying them, even if they aren't authentic viking rings they look pretty cool.
