Looks like an early woodland florence blade. Not so sure about that base though.
 

It's a Savanah River type. Unsure if they are found up there though..
 

I re-borrowed my friend Dave Garvins Overstreet book 8th Edition. Its my only source besides this forum. In my opinion it looks like a Heavy Duty(Ohio). Cannot wait to go back. I think we will drag the rubber plow out of the barn next week. Your comments are greatly appreciated my friends. Keith.
 

Yes the piece is worked more on the other side close to the base and stem. The best way to determine, and the hardest would be to find another in the same area. It does look like everthing we opinioned. I have a local dealer named Gilbert who will probably nail it. Thanks for all the help. Love Indian rock finding---Keith.
 

If I found it in Maryland we would call it a Savannah River . In the pic the broken peice on the right is a savannah
