What type of Padlock is this?

This lock was found a few days ago.
Curious if it was a niche type lock,such as for the railroad,bank???
Or if it is just a common padlock.
Any info on use and date would be appreciated.
Appears there are no markings...

Cant say for sure but years ago when I hunted later sites,I dug two of those locked together at a site I got nothing earlier than 1890 at

Google up - M.W. Company. Looks close to two in my collection. Is there any faint engraving on the front right below the shackle? Looks like some of the Slaymaker locks. Nice lock should clean up nice!

Similar shape but not quite big enough for a RR switch lock. Monty
