What I thought was a CW medal I am nit sure of anymore. Anyone have any ideas?

I believe what you have is the "Knight medal of the French Légion d'honneur"

Or it could be this medal, I haven't found what metal this is as of yet.

Edit: if you check the bottom of the page linked above the first photo, it shows variations of the above medal, which is what this medal below is.
