Iā€™ve been looking online for like an hour now and Iā€™m just not finding a match, while I keep looking I thought Iā€™d try to tap your knowledge over her on t-net.

They are around here in se Kansas but I doubt they are native. The guy who had this tree in his yard said he thought it was a silver something. The underside of the leaves are silvery from a distance and he said it suckers pretty bad and spreads easily if not kept in check.

Any arborists out there that can tell me what it is?

If the underside is silver with a soft texture it is most likely a Silver Maple tree.

Silver poplar would explain why I couldnā€™t find it in any of the plant guides of North America. And the description mentioning the suckers matches. Thanks for the help.

Might be it, but the image of the trunk on the Wikipedia page doesn't match well with the original photo.
