What to buy

Hi all new to the forum and to metal detecting . I saw one in a paw shop and had always wanted to try it but never did . We'll the urge over came me and I bought it . It is a garrett grand master ll cx . Being new to this all I belive the MD is working as it should I have found 15.00 in coins and a lot of scrap. I've only been out for a total of 20 hrs or so. I'm hooked on this relaxing , fun, and exciting hobbie . I don't understand how this can be but it is what it is.. Now I'm at a point where the guys I hunt with have much new detectors than I do I want to buy a new one but I'm stuck with what one I like the garrett 350 or the 250 or do I keep what I have . Any thoughts and advice . Would be greatly appreciated thanks

The CxII might be older tech analog and heaver,eats batterys faster....but it will beat up on Digital the 350 and 250 ...keep what you got and learn it !

Thanks Gary I was told the same thing by a gentleman in the park I hunt .just wasn't sure. The garrett came with two extra coils but I dont think they go to this one the plugs are not the same and the way they mount on the shaft is different. ... John
