Boy,it sure does look like a gun barrel that has been fired with an obstruction.....dont ask how I know what that looks like.......almost resembles a hand cannon?

It does "look like" an exploded muzzleloader bootpistol. But if so, it ought to have a hole or nipple at the end of the barrel area for igniting the gunpowder. The photos don't show one. Might need cleaning to be sure whether there is or isn't an ignition-hole. If there isn't, it's not a firearm.
