It's not nice to tease an old fart country girl! ;D I got one right one time I think? Anyway, the two hangey things on top want me to guess watch fob, but it is a bit frilly, so, watch fob for a sissy?

I know some one will prove me wrong......but looks like a ladies dress buckle from way back when? Monty eventually got a couple right? :D

CG is correct. It is half of a Victorian era ladies dress buckle.

Hey Monty! I figured you get a kick out of that. I finally got one right! Thanks Matt.

It really is a cool find. I found one a couple years ago and PBK helped me out.

What are all the little sparklies in the glass pendant on that necklace? They looks like tiny gold nuggets?
That little charm is filled with gold flakes. Probably not worth much but a interesting find!

are they flakes or shavings? if they are flakes perhaps the giver of the pendant was a gilder and collected the flakes when burnishing the gold leaf!

My mother-in-law has a necklace almost exactly like that one. She got it in Alaska on a cruise many years ago.

that is a very nice find.

It looks like a vent cover. My great grandmother had a few in her house, not that fancy, but they had the notches on the top that slipped into hooks on the wall. Just a thought.
