What sort of colonial era copper coin is this?

Hello everyone,

Al here. I hit one of my favorite fields today and popped out this old colonial era copper coin. I have no clue what this coin could be! Some help with its' ID would be awesome! It's the size of a modern quartr or maybe a bit smaller. The field has produced King George 2s and Large cents so this coin could be anywhere between 1720's (or earlier?) to around the 19th century. (Truly guessing here!) I also pulled up a 1901 V nickel there today as well. Thanks in advance for any help with the coin! The back side of the coin is wasted! Damn!

H.H.

Al

looks like the first pic is the obverse of your colonial copper,
and the second pic is the reverse of your V nickel.
i know you said the back of the copper is wasted,
but could you post a pic of that as well, please?
thanks.

p.s. do i see a left-facing, georgey-looking male bust on the first coin?
perhaps an old head george II halfpenny?

"It's the size of a modern quartr or maybe a bit smaller"
If it is quarter size or smaller & that is George then it would have to be a farthing.(british,Irish)
