It's an Indian language (Asian Indian not American Indian). I believe it's Hindi. What makes you think it's old? Looks like modern graffiti to me.

PS: "Nanda" is a common first name in India... most usually for girls and less commonly for boys. It means "full of joy".

I was also going to say Hindi. Saw lots of it in the year I spent in the south of India
