this is part of some kind of motor that i took apart. im trying to find out what that whitish metal is. its not aluminum or magnesium. what else can it be? it does not stick to a magnet either

Hit it with a blow torch see how quickly it melts. Im betting its an aluminum mix. Recycling it if you can get it off the iron of the rotor you'd get cast prices for it.
