I would hazard a guess that they might be Armadillo teeth that go along with that scaly skin you found.
That is if you are located in Texas. Otherwise, the skin might be from a reptile of some sort, an alligator
then the teeth do not match and I don't know.

Yep, part of my job is pulling jawbones from deer. They can be aged by the teeth but Im not good at it.

That is an armadillo skin, Heck we gottum here in n.w. georgia. :thumbsup:

I'd say that gear is a timing gear for a old motorcycle & would explain the chain as well (being chain driven).But after looking at it again I can't tell for sure cause now it looks very thin to me. :icon_scratch:

I am not sure, but it isn't very thick, it is about as fine as the one you told me was from an old clock or pocket watch that I had on here a while ago.

test with magnet

looking at it now I see its too small for a bicycle and it looks like brass.
