What Kind of Nail is This?

Anyone ever seen a nail like this? It is aluminum and lightweight, but has a strange flattened tip that is offset.

Your nail is actually a pipe smokers tool. The one end is used to tamp the tobacco down into the pipe bowl and the flattended end is used to scrape tobacco out of the bowl. The ones I've had have all been made of aluminum. 2dgs

it a pipe smokers "nail" or tool --the flat head end is used to packed your tobbaco in your pipe --the other end is used to scrape the carbon build up from the bowl of the pipe to keep it from getting too thick --- smoked a pipe for about 30 years now --so I do know what it is for sure .. Ivan

Neat,,, I found one of these earlier this spring. Didn't think too much about it at the time. I just figured it was some type of nail I had never seen before, which doesn't happen too often, and as it turns out it seems to be just that,,, A "Pipe Nail" who duh thunk it...
Mine has "MADE IN U.S.A." stamped on it, how about yours?..
