Can someone tell me what the small bullet is on the bottom left? Also, the two next to it outlined? They have a flat top to the bullet? I'm curious to know what bullets I found. Look all Union. Found in Virginia. Most .58 cal.? .69?

Thanks.

Yea I was just reading about the nipple protector...I actually found two. As for the two that have a flat top and not rounded- I'm not sure. Someone told me that they could be re-enactment bullets? What about the others? .58 cal?

Look to be .58's to me, and period pieces rather than modern casts.

I don't think they are re-enactment bullets. Not sure any re-enactors actually use real bullets at least in their gatherings. And they aren't modern with that patina in my opinion- definitely civil war. I've never dug any flat top 3 ringers that weren't pulled in some way evidenced by some kind of marks on the top.
