My buddy Kat and I were detecting in an old section of Central Florida today. My second target was this bullet. Can anyone help me identify it?:icon_scratch: There are no other markings - except I THINK I can see a small triangle inside the butt (what's the correct word??). See - I don't know much about bullets! Thanks in advance.

Your "non-digital" (analog) caliper seems to show the bullet's diameter is approximately 11/32nd-inch. In decimal form, that is .34375-inch. The closest gun caliber for that fractional measurement is .357-caliber. However, if the photo isn't showing that your bullet is a teeny bit smaller than 11/32nd-inch, the closest caliber match is .32 caliber.

TCB, what about .35 Remington?? Don't forget the rifle bullets!! The one shown certainly looks long enough for a rifle slug.
