✅ SOLVED What Kind Of Buckle Is This??

Hi gang

Found this buckle today on a property that dates back to the mid 1800s. It's not very large, about 1 3/4 inches long and made of what looks to be solid brass. Wondering what it belongs to. Any help appreciated.

Hi Natman, I have found one like this before. Tnetters ID'ed it for me as a "Conway" buckle, and as Skaba said, it is part of horse tack. Cheers! Sub

Didn't clean it at all, it came out of the ground in awesome shape!
