Salt/ pepper shaker?

Candy container made to look like an old fashioned lantern. Top ws made like a lantern top with a bale handle. 40's-50's.

I'm going with salt and pepper shaker mid 1900's or later, what kind of candy would fit in there tic-tacs ?? :dontknow:

Keep @ it and HH !! :hello2:

Little bitty different colored ones that looked like little BB's..............pure sugar.......

Could also be a small oil lamp base.

Hello, anyway you could get a close up of the cap end? I have found some of these in lake Minnetonka but different design...looks like salt and pepper to me...if the end is very rough glass then it is around 1890's to 1910...

Ia.fur.trade is correct, it is a candy container made to look like a kerosene lantern.

Reminds me of something I have that is very similar.
Mine has a G on the bottom of the glass.
Also, a screw-on base and top.
No holes for salt or pepper.
