Not an error, looks like a well worn coin that has been damaged after mintage. At first I thought it may have been a Lamination error till I seen the front. Only my opinion.

does the lamination error go all the way through to the front? i thought it would only effect one side. I don't know that is why im asking

Lamination is when a piece of the coin will peel off, see example.

ahh okay. now what would cause it to only crack half way through on one side? i would think if it was post mint damage it would either have edge dings or go through the coin but looking at the front you couldn't tell the back had that. Is there any other type of damage that could make it this way?

anyone wana give a shot at the date?

Yes it could have been a Clamshell error meaning there was a crack around the edge on that part of the coin and someone just peeled it back.
