I found this a while ago but never got around to posting it. I have no idea what it is or what it was used for. I am guessing some sort of decritive piece but I have no idea. I think it is made of copper, and it is hollow. The hole on one side is bigger than the hole on the other. Any help is appreciated! image.webpimage.webpimage.webp

P.S. the araser is just there too hold the penny up.

Looks like the handle off of a fireplace poker.

That dose look very similar and I was guessing it was a handle to something.

The toilet handles were solid as I recall, not hollow, but I could be wrong.

Looks to me like the pendant handle from a pull-cord, which could be to operate any number of devices (manual ones such as blinds and drapes as well as electrical ones such as ceiling fans and lights). Generally the cord attached to the device or its switch is threaded through the smaller hole, knotted at the end, and then the larger hole allows the knot be be pulled back inside the pendant part but won't get pulled through the small hole when the cord is yanked.
