What is this?

Hi! I found this in Kansas along the Arkansas River. I am stumped as to what it is. It looks like a piece of meat. Lol highly doubtful that's what it is.

I'm incredibly bad at rock identification, but I'll take a stab and guess it's a type of feldspar.

I'm starting to think there needs to be a forum category specifically for Rockhounding.
It's just really hard to ID rocks correctly by photograph alone.

Agree. Typically, if the word 'rock' is in the title, I don't even open it.

Looks like some amber or amber type relative, if you look through the translucent photo you see those little circles and dots, probably some form of cyanobacteria but, looks can be deceiving. Cool stuff

Rocks/Gems

If you click on forum, at top left, there is there is a large list of categories.
But what is it gets more attention .
