Try this post again, I hope these photos help out, my phone camera is not very good for things like this or i woul dpost a lot more things, This thing stumps me, Any guesses to lead me in the right path is appreciated.

What does the bottom of the base look like??
I think I've seen something like it but not sure.
Looks like the "handle" thing would swing down to cap the fitting on the right closing it off.
