I found this whitish and very hard "rock", kindly help me identify it, thanks! image.jpeg
 

Piece of Quartz I would guess. Should be 7 on the hardness scale, so will scratch most steels and will be scratched by few things except Diamond.

I think quartz also, not quite milk quartz and not crystal quartz either a mix of both.

Looks like a Kidney stone I passed back in 98.

Not really - quartz is extremely common all over the world. If it were a perfect clear crystal it would have some value to the crystal addicts, but only a few dollars/pounds. This one is more like an addition to your rockery!

The beaches in Cornwall have stacks of this stuff and a lot of the sand is just ground up quartz from millions of years of erosion.
