Not sure what this is??? It's more redder at the top as if there's another color on the inside!! But I'm guessing maybe quartz!

Welcome to Tnet. I find these quite often in north Texas while fossil hunting. Quartz is what I call them, though I don't really know if that's correct or not. What area are you in?

Your second is also quartz that has been stained by red clay or by contact with iron ore (rust stained).Quartz with iron ore contact has high probability of containing gold.Crush and pan it.
