Found in a park in Monterey Ca. Cannot figure out what this is. Any ideas?

I added a photo. The end looks hollowed out with what appears to be stone/cement. Thought at first axe head but it lays flat. Car part?

PS: duh...I know it's a piece of metal. But it's got some grooves near the wedged edge. That has ti have been designed for some use.

Agreed...contemporary. Not really worth keeping. Yes, it is heavy. Now it makes sense. Thanks to everyone

Thank you to everyone who gave a legitimate suggestion. This site should be used to help all the treasure hunters out there. It worked for me!
