I can see the corkscrew, the pour spout, and the plug. What is the ring looking one? Napkin ring? And I assume the long one is for some of the bottles that you push the cork in, rather than pulling it out?

The ring looking thing is a collar that fits around the neck of the bottle to absorb any drips that may occur after pouring the wine to avoid staining a tablecloth or such.
The long one? You talking about the thermometer?

I didn't think it was a thermometer. Looks more like the tool for taking the seal off?

I have one very simular. left to right this is what they are

corkscrew
thermometer (way to short to use, sometimes it does not even reach the wine)
drip stopper (dish towel works better)
metal cork(useless)
lead cap cutter(really useful - I have been known to cut fingers using steak knife)

You sure about that last one? It looks hollow, like a collar to me? The third item could be a dripless pourer I guess.

We both agree on the 3rd one. But from the photo the last one looks like it would be used this way.

I have never seen the thing you show in your picture. The last one could be one of those also.

When I open champagne or pour red I just get a nice kitchen towel. If I am home alone a paper towel works just as well and the wife doesn't get POed cause I stained her good towels. ;D

Keeping the wife happy, this is what really matters! lol

The last one (far right) is foamed on the inside so I would guess it's to stop drips....Thanks

Who needs all that fancy stuff just to drink? I can open anything with my teeth,,and a long straw takes care of drips ;D just sayin
I miss the good ole days...

LMAO,,,MD 20-20,,brings back memories, or the lack of. ;D My best friend and I used to split a bottle on the banks of the St. Johns river back in the days. The squids would get it for us, $2.00 a bottle. You know its only $2.69 now? 30 years and only a .69 cent jump in price. Wish all things had only gone up that much! Well,,I drink NO wine today,,,still remember that stuff and just cannot get over it.
