What is that pink stuff inside it? im guessing it broken correct? Tell me if i should remove the plastic. My friend said it a radio communication like a mic thing for the place, base. 20210211_202727.webp20210211_202519.webp20210211_202543.webp20210211_202608.webp

Pink thing is a gasket/washer. To be honest looks like the end of an air hose or hose of some sorts. But it could be a cannon plug for some sort of comm equipment.

Added: The black stuff looks like electrical tape and wouldn't cause an issue if removed.

Cannon plug or air hose chuck.

Looks like the cut off remains of a coaxial connector on half-inch transmission line.
(Used in radio communications to connect the transmitter to the antenna.)

If I had to guess, I would say a Type-N connector.
You can still see the red internal weatherproof washer (which also rules out this being a type PL-259 connector used a lot in VHF communications, such as the CB radios of the 1970's).
The black electrical tape is also for weatherproofing.

Not that old. (Guessing not more than 40 years? max.)

Weather proof connector "military equipment" Seen many different versions of the same thing (outside housing) inside would have anything from open socket, to single/multi pin male/female connector type. The connectors can be made of brass, aluminum, or even steel.

Cable or hose connection, it is also a piece of junk.
