What concerns me about this item is the drill holes
the holes were DRILLED at after the cap was manufactures
Any one that knows anything about metal shop would see that the drill holes are the result of a dull drill
A manufacturer would allow for burrs at the outer edge of the drill hole.
The metal ridge that was left over from the bottom died of the drill edge is crude, after market.
I think this cap started out as a solid cap less drill holes
