Crumb pan is correct. Elegant victorian homes would use this with a matching brush to sweep the table cloth during a fine dinner.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, and YES it is a Crumb Pan.

I wanted to say it was a metal fan used by Sally Rand, but opted not to do so! :laughing7:

Did they really give the crumbs to the slaves? I would imagine nothing was wasted.

Nice Find! Looks like plated white metal, brittania, pewter type alloy, etc, nice and thick.
I found one a while back and it had me stumped too, was engraved & plated thin brass.
Great ornate find, Congrats :)
