Hi,
I am new to this so please bare with me. I have two, what looks like some kind of coin or token found in a box of old junk at an estate sale. I was wondering if anyone could help me identify it and a value, if any. It was probably a big mistake but I cleaned it. It was corroded with some kind of black oil or something. Anyway, it got scratched up during the cleaning, it seems kind of soft. There is a spot where there looks like a tiny hole, but as far as I can tell, it is silver in color on the inside. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Welcome to TN. Correct, you would have lost value if it was real. My guess is a shiny plated pot metal cast replica of a Pillars and Waves type cob. Your pics show a casting seam on the edges. Have it tested to see if its silver.. I think i see the word copy.

I think folks are on the right track here. The piece looks like a cast reproduction to me as well.

3rd last picture you can even see what looks like a little spot of the plating worn away.

Thank you to all! You have been very helpful. I do have one more item that I have absolutely no clue what it is. I will get photos and post. This is a awesome site!
