Very odd color and metal...

Light ? looks like aluminum. ?

no its not that light , its definitely not aluminum it seems more like silver

It is not silver. No signs of oxidation. Silver tarnishes over years exposed to oxygen.

You missed your calling you should have been a chemist or an alchemist one of those guys who turns base metals into gold or so the legend goes....lol...

Here's an example of a land dug legit 8 reale and this shows the oxidization that Crispin was talking about.....note the dark color on the devices of the coins a dead giveaway on a silver type coin.

I was an organic chemist. I loved it! Best job I ever had. I gave it up for a higher calling...take it up with God, he made me give it up. :)
