This was found in the same motel .What is this ? How old is it ? Period to the motel that stood there ? In the maps shown a motel that stood there in 1942 . I found this where the motel stood . it was deep what is it ? Old real or repo old or repo new ?
In picture 6 it has some white wire I guess. I DONT KNOW . what is the iron stuff in picture 6 ? What are those two long metal things at the bottom ? All cleaned up it was caked with dirt.

I believe that was for using plumbing pipe as a ground for electrical systems. Not sure on the age.

Also used to attach the ground conductor to a ground rod.
Or, ground an antenna mast.

Basically - electrical ground made to a metal pipe.

Yup!! Once my girlfriend got a shock in the bathtub, I didn't believe her until I stuck my hand in there and got shocked too. I went down to where my water pipe from the well came into the basement and saw the grounding clamp from the breaker box on it and knew what the problem was. Took a large pair of vise grips and clamped them on, problem gone. Only problem was when I moved I forgot my vise grips!!
