What is this?? Help!!

Found this last night near an old pond. Don't have a clue what it is. It was about 8 inches deep. Thought maybe an old black powder slug but it looks too long to be a bullet. Maybe an arrowhead tip? It does have a cavity on one end and rounded nose on the other. Thanks for the help.
