Found this piece in a yard...it's 5 1/2 x 3 inches and 5 inches tall and says _ _ SH ANCHOR (can't make out the first 2 letters). Could it really be some kind of boat anchor? It's kind of heavy but small. Thanks for any help or name of company.

Maybe something you pressed into the ground to support a "bush" or plant?
Just a wild guess.

It could have been in cement,some type of cement anchor for chaining or tying something down.

looks like a deadman
an anchor to which a rope or chain is attached to move something

How about "DISH ANCHOR" as in satellite dish? Possible attached to the leg of a tripod holding up one of those big, honkin', old-school 7 foot round satellite TV receivers.
