HI EVERYONE, I FOUND THESE IN JUNE IN MONMOUTH COUNTY ON THE BANK OF A SMALL STREAM THAT RUNS ONLY ABOUT 1/8 OF A MILE. THERE WAS ALOT OF FIGHTING IN MONMOUTH COUNTY AND THIS STREAM WAS A SEPERATION BETWEEN THE BRITISH AND THE AMERICANS. THE 1ST LOOKED LIKE SOMETHING OF A CHEST OR SOMETHING, BUT WHE I LOOKED CLOSELY I SEE THAT THERE IS SOMETHING SMALL AND ROUND THAT LOOKS LIKE IT A SMALL AMOUNT OF CLOTH STILL ATTACHED TO IT. I TRULLY AM NOT SURE WHAT IT IS. THE OTHER PIECE HERE I JUST DONT KNOW, I FOUND SOME MORE RELICS IN THIS SMALL AREA, I ADDED A PHOTO OF THE MUSKETBALLS, A SHOE BUCKLE AND OTHER AMAZING FINDS. I FOUND OTHER STUFF TOO. WHAT I FOUND INCREDIBLE WAS THAT THERE WAS NO GARBAGE OR CANS OR ANYTHING. JUST ABOUT EVERY SOUND I HEARD FROM MY MD WAS SOMETHING GREAT. I AM OPEN TO ALL IDEAS, SO FAR YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN REALLY FANTASTIC HELPING ME ID THINGS, SO THANK YOU

Hard to tell size on #2, but, it could be a part of an oil lamp, the part that sits under the wick assy, and holds the prongs for the chimney.

ITS FUNNY, IF I DIDNT KNOW WHERE THIS CAME FROM AND THE HISTORY BEHIND THE SPOT, I WOULDVE JUST CONSIDERED THIS TO BE JUNK. BUT, TO MEA PIECE OFF A CLOCK OR ANYTHING IS A COOL PIECE OF HISTORY. I MEAN WHO KNOWS, THIS COULDVE CAME OFF A CLOCK THAT THE PATRIOTS WERE USING IN THEIR CAMP. I LOVE RELIC HUNTING. THIS SITE IS THE BEST

It's actually a knee buckle from around the time period of the Revolution (ca.1770-1790), not a shoe buckle. You've made some great discoveries at that site, congrats!!
