I bought it for $10 at a yard sale. the previous owner said something about revival but Im still not sure what it is. Please help me identify this piece. Thank you! IMG_8351.JPG

Based on the $10 you paid, it's more likely to be from the period immediately after the opening of King Tut's tomb: 1922

Is it copper? nice. I wish I had my old Sears Roebuck Catalog. Those old catalogs are great for making IDs from near turn of the century items. But I have no Idea the age.

Sorry I thought it was machine made. I remember as a kid, copper etching kits were very popular. Im not saying it is, I have no idea. But I remember the copper etching kits were kinda cool and they looked like that on the back with no artist or manufacturers mark. Since you said its hand engraved, its a beautiful piece, especially for that price. If I get time later Ill search around

There are a lot of Egyptian copper plates on eBay and the asking prices are low. I dont know anything about them but its a place to start. Maybe you already looked. Egyptian Plate | eBay
