What is this..button, paper weight?

Dug this the other day, it was found where I dug an old copper flat button and a Spanish reale. It's heavy and rings at 82 on my At pro. I thought lead but that is supposed to ring lower in the 70's. It is pressed with the hatch pattern rounded on the front while flat on the back.

Looks like a lead back bridle rosette. But I'm not an expert. Neat find. HH
